The University of Zaragoza is one of the largest universities in Spain, with almost 40,000 students, including faculties and schools in the cities of Huesca and Teruel. There are around 60 degrees on offer, besides numerous Master's Degrees and Postgraduate programs. The Faculty of Science is one of the most popular and lively in the university.

The Faculty of Science has an international reputation for the outstanding level of its teaching and research activities, attracting students from over the world. Publishing more than 1,000 ISI research articles per year, it places the University of Zaragoza in the top 200 in the world for Natural Sciences & Mathematics (ARWU 2016).
