How to get here

From Madrid

The capital of Spain is 312 kilometres from Zaragoza.
Transport:

  • BY BUS:

There are buses every hour (3 hour, 45 minute journey by motorway). The relevant bus station is situated on the east side of Madrid (Metro station "Avenida de América", Lines 4, 6, 7 and 9). The Metro system also reaches the Madrid-Barrajas airport.

Information about the ALSA bus company is available via the Internet: ALSA. Approximate price of a ticket: 15€.

  • BY TRAIN

There are high speed trains approximately every 90 minutes (the journey takes 1.5 hours). The Puerta de Atocha train station is in the centre of Madrid (Metro station: "Atocha Renfe", Line 1).

Train times for the national company RENFE are available from the Internet. Approximate price of a ticket: 60€.

  • BY PLANE

There is a daily flight from Madrid-Barajas airport to Zaragoza (45 minutes). From Zaragoza airport to the city there are buses (1.60€) and taxis (around 17,50€).

  • BY CAR

Autovía (dual carriageway) A-2 (no tolls).


From Barcelona:

The second largest city in Spain is 286 kilometres from Zaragoza.
Transport:

  • BY BUS

There are buses almost every hour (3.5 hours journey by motorway). The relevant bus station is Barcelona Nord at "Arc del Trionf" (with stations of Metro L1 and bus stops of the Autobús Urbano in the vicinity).

  • BY TRAIN

There are trains approximately every 90 minutes (the journey takes 2 hours). Train times for the national company RENFE are available from the Internet. Approximate price of a ticket: 64€.

Barcelona airport is also connected to the train station by commuter trains ('Rodalies' in Catalan) (line 1, 'Sants' station).

  • BY CAR

Autopista (toll motorway) AP-2 or Autovía (motorway) A-2.


From Bilbao

Transport:

  • BY BUS

There are buses every two hours (4 hours journey by motorway). Information about the ALSA bus company is available via the Internet. Approximate price of a ticket: 20€.

  • BY TRAIN

There are two trains daily (the journey takes 5 hours). Train times for the national company RENFE are available from the Internet. Approximate price of a ticket: 33€.

  • BY CAR

Autopista (toll motorway) AP-68 (one of the most expensive in Spain).

There are direct flights to and from:
