The Salesian Professional School of "Nuestra Señora del Pilar"
of Zaragoza offers annually the Don Bosco National Award for
innovations and research in techonology.
.
From 2008 and following a signed agreement with the University of Zaragoza,
several joint activities have been proposed to promote closer links between
the two organisations. In particular, in recent awards, the Jury for the prize
has included a panel formed specifically of academic staff from the Faculty of
Sciences who are specialised in the areas of work presented for each category
of the prize.

As an innovation for this year´s award and to promote a greater awareness
of the award, an exhibition was staged from 9th to 11th March 2009 to present
a selection of the works submitted, including models. The exhibition was an
excellent opportunity to see the types of innovations which students at technical,
middle and high schools were developing.
The exhibition took place in the Hall and Meetings Room of Building D of the Faculty.
