Museum of Science of Aragón

Various people from very different professional backgrounds have concluded that it is now time that the Autonomous Community of Aragón has its own Museum of Science - and one fully integrated within the recently created National Network of Museums of Science and Technology.

As a consequence, on Tuesday 14th May 2009 - during the formalisation of an agreement between the Government of Aragón, the City Council of Zaragoza and the University of Zaragoza to create the Chair of José María Savirón - the mayor of Zaragoza formally offered a building to house a Museum of Science in Aragón. The new Savirón Chair would be in charge of making decisions about the contents of the museum.
