Pavilion of Science

The Faculty of Sciences collaborates with the Department of Science, Technology and University of the Government of Aragón to organise and develop the contents for the Pavilion of Science, of the Feria Zaragoza (Zaragoza Fair).

Pavilion 2009

For the fifth consecutive year the Faculty of Sciences collaborated with the Department of Science, Technology and University of the Government of Aragón to organise and develop the contents and management of the Pavilion of Science for the Zaragoza Fair, which took place from 10th to 18th October 2009. The management of the Pavilion was the responsibility of Jesús Martinez, a member of the teaching staff of the Department of Physics of Condensed Matter.

The Management Team of the Faculty of Sciences believes that the Pavilion is a very important showcase for Aragonese society and offers a great opportunity to demonstrate the importance of developing science to improve the quality of life.

Amongst the activities proposed was the creation of a space dedicated to the dissemination of science by teachers, research groups, departments and research institutions of the University of Zaragoza.

Anyone interested in sharing their ideas and projects in the Pavilion of Sciences in 2009 was invited to contact with the teachers Concha Aldea (caldea@unizar.es), Vicedean of Community Outreach, and Jesús Martínez (jimartin@unizar.es), Pavilion of Science Coordinator, before 31 July.
