Academic Year
The academic year runs from mid-September until the following September, including both term time and vacation periods. Lectures are given in two semesters: 1) from September to January, 2) from February to June. Examinations are held at the end of each semester. There is a second opportunity to sit or retake examinations at the beginning of September.
There are three main vacation breaks at Christmas, Easter, and Summer, and various other public holidays during the year.
