Academic orientation

The course coordinator is the key figure for any questions, clarifications or problems that may arise during the academic year. The coordinator is in regular contact with the students and their representatives and provides support and implements the necessary actions to support the learning process of the students. In all degrees, according to the guidelines of the Academic Orientation Programs of the University of Zaragoza, each student is assigned an individual teacher-tutor who will be in charge of academically advising on aspects related to the integration and adaptation of the student to work that they are expected to complete in their career, about the most appropriate academic options, about the student's personal or professional academic interests, about the resources and services available at the University, about the general functioning of the University in its administrative functions and academic aspects, and on participation in their governance structures.

The Information Center

The Information Center is conceived as a comprehensive and personalized service whose main objective is to meet the demands for information from the different sectors of the university community as well as from other citizens interested in learning about any matter related to the University.

Student counseling services

There are student counseling services led by professionals (among lawyers, psychologists and doctors) where you will find the necessary support and advice for both academic and non-academic problems and queries. These services are personalized, free and your privacy is fully guaranteed.

  • Study counseling. Offers assistance on career opportunities, degree profiles, and practical academic matters.
  • Legal counseling. From starting a business, signing a contract, or filing an official complaint, you can get help with the legal aspects of such matters.
  • Psychological counseling. If any situation makes you feel vulnerable or depressed or makes you anxious when preparing for your exams, you can find support in this consultancy.
  • Sexological counseling. You can get information on sexual issues and how to approach your sexuality.

International Relations Office

The University of Zaragoza International Relations Office will provide international students with all the necessary support in the registration process, and practical information about the city, transport, flats and rooms on to rent, Halls of Residence, health care, courses for international students, etc.

Attention to diversity Office

The main role of the University of Zaragoza’s Student Attention to diversity Office (an arm of the Vice-Rectorate for Students and Employment) is to ensure equal opportunities by the full inclusion of all university students in the University academic life as well as promote sensitization and awareness of diversity within the University community. This office is particularly committed to providing due help to any student with special educational needs arising from any disability.
