We would like to draw your attention to the event called CCMA2019, Conference on Challenges in Mathematical Architecture http://dma.aq.upm.es/ccma2019/ that will take place at Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in Madrid, Spain, July 11-13, 2019. The abstracts of the invited speakers and schedule are available now on the website. If you have already registered, thank you for your interest!! If you have not registered yet, you still have time to join us in Madrid to attend the workshop. The reduced registration fee finishes on June 15. The submission of abstracts for poster finishes on June 1. We would really appreciate if you could circulate this message among your colleagues and researchers with interest and/or curiosity in the scope of the conference. This event aims at being a meeting point of architects, engineers, mathematicians and developers of software interested in architectural problems with significant geometric and mathematic content. Topics of this meeting include: - Numerical Analysis - Discrete Differential Geometry - Computer Aided Geometric Design - Applications to Architecture: Gridshells, Tensile Architecture, etc.. - Energy Efficiency and Parametric Architecture. - Teaching Mathematics in Architecture Schools.
