Resumen

We shall present some analogies between inequalities in information theory, convex geometry and concerning the determinants of non-negative matrices. These similarities start with the Brunn-Minkowski-Minkowski inequality and the entropy power inequality and are an endless source of conjectural inequalities in convex geometry on the comparison of the volume of the sum of compact sets and convex bodies.
