Required Qualifications:

Experience with knowledge of material sciences, mechanical treatment in materials related with electrical and electronic waste. Good experience with lab equipment testing such as XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy) analyzer and data processing.

Field of Study: Materials Science, Waste and Water Management, Environmental Engineering.

Other requirements:

Active students. Being tolerant to hot climate conditions, interested in the education process, being able to work independently but also in groups, communicative.

Gross pay: 350 USD / Month

Internship offered: The intern will play an integral role within a working group focused on addressing issues related to electrical and electronic waste. As part of the LaWEEEda project, the intern will be actively engaged in processing both local and national data related to stakeholders and the informal sector. Additionally, the intern will be involved in laboratory testing of plastic components and precious materials extracted from electronic waste. The primary objective will be to formulate proposals for the retrieval or reuse of separated components from electronic equipment, contributing to the overall goals of the project.
